Kent Youngblood here with a few announcements the Wild made today.
Blair Mackasey, since 2006 the Wild's director of professional scouting, has been named the team's director of player personnel. he will continue to oversee the team's professional scouting department as well as perform special hockey operations assignments.
The Wild has also extended the contracts of pro scouts Jamie Hislop and Chris Kelleher, coordinator of amateur scouting Guy Lapointe as well as amateur scouts Paul Charles, Pavel Routa, Marc Chamard, Craig Channell, Brian Hunter, Brian Fortin, Ernie Vargas and Chris Hamel.
