Throughout the Northeast, hot weather has been completely wiped out. It'sgreat! The 90-degree weather we had around here at the beginning of the weekwas awful. It's not supposed to do that in September, and I'm glad it'sgone. Here in central Pennsylvania, it stayed in the 60s this afternoon. This gets meto thinking about all the nice autumn days the lie ahead. It won't be long.
Thursday night will be quite cool throughout the Northeast with widespread lowtemperatures in the 40s. Then from the mid-Atlantic to New England, Friday willbe another invigorating sort of a day. Even along the I-95 corridor, where itis usually quite a bit warmer, temperatures will be no higher than the 70sFriday afternoon. The Appalachians and areas to the north will have another daywith highs in the 60s.
