You wouldn't want Johannes Brahms' love life. His love songs, however, are another matter. Brahms' two sets of "Love-song Waltzes" offer some of the most beguiling music ever written. And for its season finale the Schubert Club is importing a starry quartet -- soprano Sylvia Schwartz, mezzo Bernarda Fink, tenor Michael Schade, and bass-baritone Thomas Quasthoff -- to sing them. In the German-speaking world, this program (which opens with Schumann's "Spanish Love Songs") would sell out in a nanosecond. But Anglophones will savor it too. Take someone you love.
