Love back in three-point contest

NEW ORLEANS – Timberwolves star Kevin Love is going back to All-Star Saturday night to defend his three-point shooting title.

After a year away, of course.

Love won the 2012 contest, beating Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant in the final in Orlando. He missed last season's event because he had already broken his right shooting hand twice within three months. This time, he will compete against Golden State's Steph Curry, Cleveland's Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn's Joe Johnson, Portland's Damian Lillard, Washington's Bradley Beal, San Antonio's Marco Belinelli and Orlando's Arron Afflalo in New Orleans. The next day, Love will start for the Western Conference in an All-Star Game for the first time.
