    Look inside the new downtown Minneapolis YMCA

    The new YMCA on Nicollet Mall is opening later this week in the Gaviidae Common building in downtown Minneapolis. The new $30 million space is five floors of the building and includes some national firsts including an equity innovation lab, a wellbeing center for yoga and meditation, a huge spinning theatre so you can climb the mountain, a rooftop space for yoga and fitness classes, and virtual reality fitness equipment.

      Ice road in Warroad is saving business in the Northwest Angle

      After Canada closed its borders due to COVID-19 shutting down the land route to the Northwest Angle via Manitoba, residents, in desperation, built an ice road over a 22-mile expanse across frozen Muskeg and Big Traverse bays, from Warroad to the Angle's south end, to draw visitors.
