Long hike to the Capitol pays off

Ninety-five miles and a few months later, Mankato students host debate

Those four Minnesota State University, Mankato students who walked 95 miles to Capitol have something to show for it, besides blisters.

The DFL candidates for governor will face off there Friday, in a debate hosted by Debate Minnesota.

Senior Tom Williams called to say that's because of the walk. They had hoped to bring a forum to town, and they succeeded.
