Insite Software, Minneapolis, a provider of business-to-business software for manufacturers and distributors, announced it has acquired Storyworks1, a Minnetonka-based mobile sales and digital content delivery platform.

Terms were not disclosed. The combined company will have about 100 employees.

Solar Energy

Innovative Power Systems, St. Paul, said Tuesday that it will begin installing thousands of solar panels next month on four commercial rooftops along Metro Transit's Green Line. The $2.7 million solar project, which will be the largest in St. Paul, is partly funded by a $1.9 million grant from the Xcel Energy Renewable Development Fund.
