A lot going on online, not all of it self-serving.

We shot some videos last week, with quite the new approach. Rather than a tight script, local sommelier Leslee Miller and I chatted rather informally with Strib reporter Aimee Blanchette.

That made for some loong takes, so the footage was divided into three seaparte videos, available here and here and here .

The subject, paring wines with sweet holiday treats. And while Aimee wasn't too wild about the fruitcake, I bet she'd like it better than this. Yuck.

Finally, we blessedly have reached a stage where naming the year's finest Minnesota wines is not even remotely something to ridicule. The wines that I have tatsed on this best-of list, from Explore Minnesota, are well-made and tasty.
