Twin Cities-based Lorie Line is known for her extravagant holiday shows, and the house that she and her family have lived in for several years is no exception. The over-the-top house was designed in the style of an Mediterranean-style villa and has about 8,500 square feet, 4 acres and a 1,000 feet of Lake Minnetonka shoreline.

Listing agent Patty Yorks of Coldwell Banker Burnet told JustListed that the shape of the house mirrors the shoreline, giving most rooms spectacular views (you'll find listing photos on Patty's website). Yorks said that Line and her husband are selling the house because they're about to become empty nesters and don't need the space. They plan to downsize into a smaller house and stay in the area.

The family owns houses on both sides of their main house, including one that was used as a recording studio and another that functioned as a guest house. While the house is certainly upper-bracket, it's not the most expensive on the market right now. By far. The most expensive one is listed at $24 million and it, too, is on Lake Minnetonka.'

Lori Line gave my colleague, Lifestyles editor, Connie Nelson, a tour of the house in late 2007. To read that story, click here, and to see the photos, click here.

Perla is one of 113 UC employees found to have violated the system's sexual misconduct policies in rece
