Regarding the March 30 article “The Little House on Park Avenue”: One would think that, with all the millions being tossed around for new stadiums and such, a price tag of a mere $300,000 to restore this unique artifact of old-time Minneapolis — with its sweetly modest architecture, overarching trees and little gated yard in an increasingly soulless downtown — would generate efforts to preserve, not demolish, it.
