Leigh Klasse and Lynn Anderson of Keller Golf Course won the MWGA Senior Four-Ball Championship at Northland Country Club by seven shots. They had a 73 Tuesday for a 140 total.

Lili McMillan and Mary Flynn finished second while defending champions Claudia Pilot and Brenda Williams were third at 149.


• Joe O'Brien and Sammy Schmitz reached the championship match of the MGA Mid-Players' Championship at Wayzata Country Club with 1-up wins in the semifinals. O'Brien, of Rush Creek Golf Club, defeated Andy Jacobson while Schmitz of Valleywood Golf Course edged Johnny Larson of Dacotah Ridge Golf Club.

• Todd Hillier and John Anderson will play in the championship match of the MGA Senior Players' Championship at Wayzata Country Club. Hillier, of Windsong Farm, defeated Leif Carlson of Valleywood Golf Course, 2 and 1 in the semifinals while Anderson, of Bunker Hills Golf Course, beat Tom Ryan, of Hazeltine National Golf Club, 5 and 4.

• Emily Hackert, the interim women's track and field coach this past school year at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, was named the Augsburg head men's and women's track and field coach.

• Rebecca Braak of the Gophers rowing team was named to the Division I All-Region first team and teammate Lynn Hodnett to the second team.

• University of Dubuque's Bridget Schirmers, a junior from Coon Rapids, was named to the All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin second team in women's lacrosse.
