The win Friday put Detroit percentage points ahead of Brooklyn for the No. 6 spot in the East. Langston Galloway scored 23 points and Jackson had 20 for the Pistons.

Charlotte 116, Washington 110: Kemba Walker scored 28 points and the Hornets beat the Wizards to hop a half-game ahead of them in ninth place in the East, 1½ games behind eighth-place Miami.

Philadelphia 123, Sacramento 114: Joel Embiid had 21 points and 17 rebounds and Jimmy Butler scored 22 points as the 76ers beat the Kings in Philadelphia to pull even with idle Indiana for the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Sacramento, which lost its third in a row is ninth in the West, six games behind the Clippers.
