Las Vegas tourism agency gets in on royal baby hype, welcomes boy to Sin City 'in 21 years'

LAS VEGAS — Sin City tourism managers are banking on the new royal baby taking after his Las Vegas-loving uncle.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority expressed their congratulations to the boy born Monday to Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, posting a greeting on Facebook that reads, "Congratulations on the royal addition. See you in 21 years."

It is not the first time that the convention bureau has seized upon hype over the British royal family. The agency issued tongue-in-cheek ads supporting Prince Harry after nude photos of him partying in Las Vegas surfaced last year.

The organization says it welcomes more than 330,000 visitors from the United Kingdom each year.
