The Twins will have 25 spring training games broadcast on KSTP Radio (1500 AM) and their radio network, beginning with their Feb. 25 opener against the Boston Red Sox. The final two Monday broadcasts -- March 23 against Baltimore and March 30 against Tampa Bay -- will have a unique format. Plans are being finalized for the broadcasts; possibilities include taking calls from fans during the game and having uniformed personnel wearing microphones.

Meanwhile, ESPN released its "Sunday Night Baseball" schedule for April and May, and the Twins will make one appearance when they play host to Milwaukee on May 24. Game selections for the remainder of the season will be made three weeks (June and July) or two weeks (August and September) in advance.

Rosemount forward leaves MSU Michigan State hockey forward Andrew Conboy, a freshman from Rosemount, and teammate Corey Tropp have both left school after being suspended for the rest of the season. The suspensions by MSU stemmed from an incident in the last minute of the Spartans' 5-3 loss at Michigan on Saturday. Conboy checked a Michigan player from behind and then tried to punch him as he crumpled to the ice. Tropp then swung with his stick at the back of the neck of the prone player.
