Update from Denver.

Chuck Kobasew, who was very close to returning from a groin injury, has just left for the airport. He'll be leaving the team for an unknown time right now to deal with a personal matter he's been dealing with for some time.

We wish him well.

As of now, the Wild has no extra forwards with Kobasew leaving. I'd expect the same lineup tonight as yesterday; same 12 forwards, Clayton Stoner in with Justin Falk out; only change Niklas Backstrom in net.

Update: Clayton Stoner not on trip with "upper body" injury; maybe from Tootoo fight? Justin Falk in tonight. Wild has minimum amount of skaters.

The Wild will get through tonight and then reassess after the game whether it needs to call up another forward or defenseman for Monday's game in Calgary.

Notes for tonight's game on the below blog.
