Gophers coach Jerry Kill said Friday that he's not sure when OL Josh Campion (concussion), TE Lincoln Plsek (back) and WR Isaiah Gentry (hamstring) will be ready to return from their respective injuries, and the coach noted that those are three would-be starters.

Kill credited left tackle Ben Lauer for trying to play with his surgically repaired knee, but it was clearly a struggle. The coach was pleased with how Jonah Pirsig played after taking Lauer's place at left tackle.

"Jonah's a heck of a football player, and we've just got to get Ben healthy," Kill said. "He's a tough kid. I appreciate what he tried to do. Get him healed up and get Campion healed up, and we'll be fine. But that lines' important, certainly the backside of the quarterback because [Mitch Leidner] got hit three or four times. But I thought Mitch hung in there pretty good with the situation we had."

I'll have more on Kill's thoughts coming off the TCU game in tonight's first editions.
