Good morning, commuters!

It's a fine morning for a drive, but do look out for construction on southbound I-35E between 694 and Hwy. 36. MnDOT has the ramp from Little Canada Road to southbound 35E closed as well as the auxiliary lane between Little Canada and Hwy. 36.

The agency is building a retaining and noise wall in the area. The lane closure will last until September.

Three general traffic lanes will remain open. We'll see how that affects traffic.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
