Good morning, commuters!

It's one of those days that we'll have to dust off our winter driving skills. Mainline roads are mostly wet but there are slippery and slushy spots, especially on bridge decks and ramps.

So far just one spin out on the mainline, and that is on eastbound 694 between McKnight Road and Century Avenue.

Secondary roads and neighborhood streets are still snow covered, so use caution as you move around the metro.

A reminder that the Minnetonka Blvd. bridge over Hwy. 100 closes today. The detour will take drivers along Lake Street, Wooddale Avenue and Hwy. 7. This is also the route Metro Transit buses will follow.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
