Keeping tabs on Friday's morning commute

Roads in the metro are in good shape, but just to the north things are a bit tricky. MnDOT is reporting roads that are snow covered in places such as Isanti, Cambridge, St. Francis and Princeton. That is impacting Hwy. 95, Hwy. 47 and Hwy. 65 commuters in the far north metro.

Good morning, commuters!

It's Friday the 13th, so let's hope nothing too spooky happens on the roads this morning. We're getting started with a report of vehicle fire on westbound Hwy. 10 between Egret Blvd. and Foley Blvd. in Coon Rapids.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
