Good morning, commuters!

We have made it to Friday and we start today with clear roads and no crashes to contend with. However, we do have a few places where overnight road work is still in place.

Those include eastbound 494 at Xerxes Avenue and westbound 494 at 12th Avenue in Bloomington.

No problems so far on the drive on northbound 169 over the Bloomington Ferry Bridge. It's smooth sailing at the present moment. If today plays out like yesterday, the commute through that work zone will be hassle free.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
