LONDON - Practice makes perfect.

Palace officials say Kate Middleton and her future brother-in-law Prince Harry were at Westminster Abbey on Friday morning for a rehearsal with bridesmaids and pages for the royal wedding.

Prince William, who will tie the knot with Middleton on April 29, was at work in Wales and did not attend, his office said.

With time winding down before the big day, the palace revealed further details about the event.

The palace said Middleton will spend her last night as a single woman with her family in a posh London hotel.

The decision to stay at The Goring, a 5-star hotel near to the Abbey, was the bride's personal choice, the palace added.

The hotel is also just a stone's throw from Buckingham Palace.
