Jonny Lang among acts added to State Fair roster

Two new shows have been added to the grandstand entertainment for the 2008 Minnesota State Fair.

Blues performers Jonny Lang and Buddy Guy will share a bill with the rock band Big Head Todd and the Monsters on Aug. 24. Tickets go on sale at noon May 3.

Country singers Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert will perform Aug. 25. Tickets go on sale May 3 at 10 a.m.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, and the State Fair box office will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. May 3 and then close until later in the spring.

The 2008 fair runs Aug. 21 through Labor Day, Sept. 1.
