Joel Eriksson Ek, sent to Iowa during the NHL All-Star break by the Wild, was recalled today -- on his 21st birthday -- for Tuesday night's game in Columbus.

The young winger had a goal on opening night in Detroit, but has gone 41 games since without another. He has six assists and seven minor penalties, and is third on the Wild in hits.
Eriksson Ek has eight points in eight games with Iowa. He was the Wild's first round pick (20th overall) in the 2015 draft.
