Jimmy Butler, Jamal Crawford out tonight for Wolves; Nemanja Bjelica to start

Minnesota is looking to avoid its first three-game losing streak of the season

January 21, 2018 at 1:21AM

The Wolves announced some bad news an hour prior to Saturday's game against Toronto at Target Center:

They will play the game without Jimmy Butler, the team's leading scorer, and Jamal Crawford.

Butler is out with a sore right knee, Crawford – one of the most potent scorers off the bench for the Wolves – has a sprained big toe on his left foot.

Nemanja Bjelica will get the start in place of Butler. Fans should expect Marcus Georges-Hunt to get more minutes off the bench for the Wolves tonight.

The Wolves, coming off an 0-2 road trip to Orlando and Houston – have yet to lose three straight games this season. Avoiding that tonight just got harder.
