"Jerry Springer Show" producer Jill Blackstone has been arrested on suspicion of murdering her deaf sister, the LAPD told TheWrap.

Blackstone was taken into custody in connection with the death of Wendy Blackstone, 49, and there is currently an ongoing investigation, a spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department said on Wednesday. However, the District Attorney's office has dropped the case for the time being.

Police received a call from Blackstone on Monday telling them that there was a dead person and three dead dogs in the garage of her San Fernando Valley, California, home, according to TMZ. Blackstone reportedly said the person killed themselves but LAPD thought the suicide note was suspicious and believed it was written by the former "Sally Jessy Raphael" and "Rosie" producer.
