If you didn't know it from his "Curious George" soundtrack, Jack Johnson digs kids. With his two young sons running around backstage at River's Edge tubing park last Sunday in Somerset, Wis., the mellow-as-Raffi singer/songwriter talked about a favorite DVD he's been watching with his boys -- "Hemo the Magnificent," an animated short directed by Frank ("It's a Wonderful Life") Capra.

"It's from the 1950s. It explains the way our bodies work and the relationship between blood and seawater. I just got it; someone sent it to me. It's part of a package with 'Unchained Goddess' [about weather]. It's really good -- for kids, too."
