A major snowstorm will impact parts of the Rockies and central High Plains Thursday night through early Saturday. One particular stretch of highway that will be severely impacted during Friday and Saturday will be Interstate 25, from Cheyenne, Wyo., down to the New Mexico border. Heavy snow and gusty winds will create very difficult driving conditions on the interstate. Visibility will be under a quarter of a mile at times with the snow. The worst travel conditions will be Friday evening through Saturday morning as the temperatures will drop through the 30s.

Air travelers can expect major delays and cancellations at Denver International Thursday night, Friday and perhaps into Saturday.
