In the eyes of Madden 10, the Vikings upgraded considerably with Favre

Brett Favre will have an overall rating of 82 when he is added to Madden 10 video game rosters tomorrow. That's a whole lot better than the two guys battling for the job before he arrived.

Sorry if any of you feel inundated with posts today, but we are just firing fast and furious along with everyone else. The latest tidbit: Brett Favre will have an overall rating of 82 in the Madden 10 game when he is added to rosters tomorrow. Now, that's down from his 84 last year. But you'll note that 82 puts him about in the middle of the pack in terms of starting QBs according to the game's rating system. Sage Rosenfels? He's a 69. Tarvaris Jackson? He's a 67.

So what we're trying to say is that if the world was operated according to a video game, the Vikings would have upgraded significantly at the quarterback position. Which we sincerely believe they did in the real world as well.

(And somehow, he has improved his "deep accuracy." No comment on that).
