With all the gizmos folks carry around these days, it's hard not to know what time it is. But if you're dashing through the airport with bags and whatnot in tow, those clocks in the terminal are counted on for a glance of reassurance or a dose of anxiety about making that flight.
But some of those clocks at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport didn't "spring forward" as required at 2 a.m. Sunday.
Yes, some clocks in the Twin Cities airport failed to keep up with the time as Central Daylight Time took effect, leaving a few travelers asking more than 30 hours after the time change, does anybody really know what time it is?
Airport spokeswoman Melissa Scovronski said most clocks in the two terminals get a high-tech and timely resetting, but there are 24 older-style clocks that need to be manually reset as CDT comes and goes. A few of them didn't keep up with the times, she said.
Electricians were "out and about today" ensuring their accuracy, she said.
Rest assured, Scovronski added, the times on the flight information boards were never affected.
