A dental hygienist who forged narcotics prescriptions using a patient's name had conditions placed on her license this month by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry.
In December, Marin R. Kopper self-reported her substance abuse and agreed to be monitored and participate in a treatment program, according to the board's order.
Later that month, she admitted to Rochester police she had been forging prescriptions for a year using both real and fictitious names, the order said. She pleaded guilty in May to a felony. She was sentenced to five years' probation and 100 hours of community service.
Kopper agreed to continued monitoring and to abstain from mood-altering drugs, the order stated.
