How close did Duke come to taking a fall and busting your bracket?

Here's how close Duke came to becoming history in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Only a series of improbable last-minute plays saved the Blue Devils.

It would have been quite the thing if Central Florida had held on to beat No. 1 overall seed Duke on Sunday afternoon. But Duke managed to finally conquer UCF and 7-foot-6 center Tacko Fall 77-76. in the tournament's most talked about game.

Later today, Star Tribune college basketball writer Marcus Fuller will be writing about how the longshot teams -- the ones we root for in the early rounds (as long as they're not killing our pool brackets) -- will be largely absent from U.S. Bank Stadium in two weeks for the Final Four.

For now, take five minutes to settle in and watch the highlights from the final minutes of the Duke-UCF game. Suggestion: You'll either want to turn down the sound or put on the headphones, we think.
