Hopkins senior big man Zeke Nnaji committed Friday afternoon to play college basketball at Arizona.

Nnaji, a 6-foot-11 four-star prospect, made the announcement at his high school in a ceremony in front of friends and family.

The college basketball early signing period ended Wednesday, so Nnaji decided not to ink a letter of intent.

He chose the Wildcats over Kansas, UCLA, Purdue, Baylor and North Carolina.

The Gophers goalie tied his career high with 47 saves, but it mattered little when his team was outshot 52-18.
