Luke List delivered a round not many others found possible in difficult conditions Friday, a 4-under 66 that gave him a share of the Honda Classic lead in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

He was tied with Jamie Lovemark (69). They were at 3-under 137, the highest score to lead at the halfway point of the Honda Classic since it moved to PGA National in 2007.

So bunched were the scores that Tiger Woods was four shots out of the lead after a 71 and four shots from last place among the 76 players who made the cut at 5-over 145.

"This is a difficult golf course right now," Woods said. "Making pars is a good thing."

Tommy Fleetwood, who won the Race to Dubai on the European Tour last year, scratched out a 68 and was one shot out of the lead along with Webb Simpson (72), Russell Henley (70) and Rory Sabbatini (69).

Fleetwood laughed when asked the last time he was 2 under after 36 holes and only one shot out of the lead.

"Maybe some junior event," he said. "Generally, one of the best players prevail at the end of weeks like this."

Korda is LPGA leader

Jessica Korda shot a course-record 62 at the LPGA Thailand in Chonburi and led by four strokes after the second round. Another American, Brittany Lincicome, stood second after a 65.

Bullied player Martin arrested over threats

Former Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin, who has struggled with mental health issues after a 2013 bullying scandal that shook the NFL, was taken into Los Angeles police custody Friday after a threatening Instagram post on his account mentioned two former teammates who had harassed him.

Martin's post showed a shotgun and referred by name to the private Harvard-Westlake prep school in Los Angeles that he once attended, a law enforcement official said. The post also included mentions of the Instagram usernames of former Dolphins players Richie Incognito and Mike Pouncey and said suicide and revenge were the only options for a victim of bullying, the official said.
