Home Valu sale will go on

In February, Auction Masters delayed the sale of items remaining after the going-out-of-business sale at the Home Valu Bloomington location. According to Auctionmasters.com, the auction is back, as of this weekend. The site indicates that inspection is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 1901 W. American Blvd. The online-only auction closes at 5 p.m. Monday and items must be picked up Tuesday. The Home Valu website is inactive and does not provide further information. Neither site offers any information about an auction at the Fridley location.

Big discounts at Stephanie's closing sale in Edina

Everything at the Edina location of Stephanie's boutique (5005 France Av. S., 612-929-2087) will be at least 70 percent off during the closing sale that continues through April 10. All designer jeans (Genetic Denim, Citizens of Humanity and James Jeans) will be $50, regularly up to $200. The sale includes spring and fall merchandise from Catherine Malandrino (dresses), Susana Monaco, Amanda Uprichard and Tracy Reese. Suede clutches and handbags from J.J. Winters also will be discounted 70 percent. Owner Stephanie Morrissey said that anyone looking for a dress to wear to a spring wedding will have a good selection. The store will be restocked daily. The Highland Park location will remain open.
