Holiday spirit at the Arb Want to make holiday ornaments using objects from your back yard? For inspiration, check out the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum's Great Hall of Trees, all decorated with handmade natural ornaments created by volunteers and arboretum gardeners. The exhibit opens Friday, as part of the "Making Spirits Bright" holiday event, which runs through Jan. 2. Also featured will be a display of gingerbread structures and the "Windows on Water" exhibit of garden enhancements. Live holiday music on weekends will add to the festive spirit. The arboretum is at 3675 Arboretum Dr., Chaska.
