Holiday music in the air The violinist and his orchestra taped their performance "Andre Rieu: Christmas Around the World" (4 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2) in Trier, Germany, featuring the Japanese Children's Choir from Nagasaki.

Dinner and dessert The Food Network features rebroadcasts of two holiday specials "Dinner: Impossible: Mission: Holiday Hope" (8 p.m.), with chef Robert Irvine traveling to Biloxi, Miss., to prepare a thank-you dinner for volunteers who worked in that city after Hurricane Katrina; and "Aces of Cakes: Charm City Christmas" (9 p.m.) has Duff Goldman and his crew meeting with Radio City Music Hall executives to design a cake for the 75th anniversary of the Rockettes' Christmas show in New York City.

From Broadway to film The 2006 movie "Dreamgirls" (7 p.m., HBO), which was based on the Broadway production about a female singing group from Detroit, stars Jamie Foxx, Beyoncé Knowles, Anika Noni Rose and Jennifer Hudson, who received an Oscar for her performance.
