Twins starter Kenta Maeda threw considerable effort into a first-inning pitch against the Brewers in Milwaukee on Wednesday. He was perhaps placed more at ease in the second inning, when Twins hitters backed him with five runs on their way to a 12-2 rout. Maeda worked 6⅔ innings, giving up five hits, and Byron Buxton hit two home runs. C5
