Happy late Festivus from the Timberwolves

"Seinfeld" is responsible for giving us many pop culture references, but one of the most enduring is popularizing the invented holiday of Festivus.

Celebrated on Dec. 23, one of the features of Festivus, as depicted on the long-running show, was the "airing of grievances."

It sure sounds like the Timberwolves celebrated Festivus a couple of weeks late Tuesday, clearing the air instead of practicing in the midst of a slump.

"I can't tell you how valuable this practice was to us," Karl-Anthony Towns said.

We'll see if it pays off.
