Bar: Cafe Maude at Loring. The second location of this neighborhood bistro has better views and a better happy hour (excuse me, a "leisure hour").

Deal: $3 select tap beer, $5 house wine and featured cocktail. For food, $3-$7 small plates, including an olive plate, smoked-fish plate, baked empanada and margherita pizza.

Hours: 4-6 p.m. daily, 10-11 p.m. Mon.-Wed., 10 p.m.-midnight Thu.-Sat.
