Guests taste-tested their way through Knead the Dough, a fundraiser for the Minneapolis Public Schools Nutrition Center. Chef stations were set up throughout the Woman’s Club of Minneapolis near Loring Park.
In addition to bite-sized treats from the 15 stations, there was a live auction and a video program showcasing the work of the Nutrition Center, plus performances by the Metropolitan Boys Choir and the Minneapolis South High School jazz band.
The goal of Knead the Dough was to raise $100,000 toward purchase of a 500-gallon kettle chiller, which preserves food for Minneapolis students.
