Gophers defensive back Brock Vereen has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Game, an annual showcase for college seniors heading into the NFL draft.
This year’s Shrine Game will be played at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Jan. 18 at 3 p.m. It will be televised on NFL Network.
Previously this month, Vereen received first-team All-Big Ten honors from the league’s coaches.
