Seven months after Daniel Oturu committed to the Gophers, Jarvis Thomas announced his decision last week to join his AAU teammate by staying home to play college basketball.

Now on Tuesday, Richard Pitino could possibly land the third member of his 2018 recruiting class in a week with DeLaSalle shooting guard Gabe Kalscheur announcing his decision at 6:15 p.m. at his high school gym in Minneapolis.

The Gophers are the favorite for Kalscheur, who is ranked as a four-star prospect by Scout.com.

The 6-foot-4, 195-pound senior plays with Oturu and Thomas on a Howard Pulley team that was one of the best AAU programs in the country this summer.

Kalscheur finished with the second most three-pointers in the Nike EYBL regular season with 51, while shooting nearly 44 percent from beyond the arc. He also was Howard Pulley's second leading scorer averaging 17.7 points in 15 games.
