The Gophers continued to add non-conference opponents to future schedules, with the latest being a home-and-home matchup with Mississippi State for 2026 and 2027.
The Bulldogs will play at TCF Bank Stadium on Sept. 12, 2026, and the Gophers will play at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Miss., on Sept. 11, 2027.
Last week, the Gophers announced home-and-home series with BYU (2020 and 2025) and Colorado (2021 and 2022). And earlier last month, Minnesota announced that it was adding Georgia Southern to its 2019 schedule.
