Gophers, Penn State to kick off at 2:30 p.m., on Oct. 1

The Gophers will visit Happy Valley for their Big Ten opener on Oct. 1, with a mid-afternoon kickoff.

The Gophers announced that their Oct. 1 game at Penn State will start at 2:30 p.m. and will be televised by Big Ten Network.

That will be the Big Ten opener for Minnesota. Penn State opens its conference schedule this week at Michigan.

Reminder: This Saturday's Gophers game against Colorado State starts at 11 a.m., on ESPNU.
