The baseball super regional between Minnesota and Oregon State will be shown on ESPN2, with the first game of the best-of-three series scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday.

Saturdaty's game is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday's, if needed to decide the series, is set for 8 p.m. The time of the Sunday game and ESPN channel could be changed depending on the outcomes of other super regionals.

The winner advances to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb. The Gophers last qualified in 1977 and this is the first time they have advanced to super regioinal play since that system was established in 1999.

Minnesota did not appear on ESPN during the Minneapolis regional beyond the games being shown on the web. The Gophers defeated Canisius and UCLA twice to win the four-team tournament at Siebert Field.

The games will be played at No. 3 seed Oregon State's field in Corvallis, Ore.
