A more favorable weather forecast has led the Gophers baseball team to push back its scheduled Friday doubleheader vs. Purdue at Target Field to Saturday. That means the Gophers will open Big Ten play against Purdue with a single game Friday at 1:05 p.m. and a doubleheader Saturday starting at 1:05 p.m. -- a flip-flop from the original schedule.
Gophers now will play two Saturday at Target Field

Gophers coach John Anderson said in a statement that the forecast for Saturday seemed "more conducive" to playing two games.
Tickets for Minnesota's home games at Target Field will be general admission, priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children 14 and younger. University students can get in for free with valid student identification. Tickets will be available only on game days, starting at 9 a.m., at the stadium's Target Plaza ticket windows, using cash only.
