Spartans edge Gophers in baseball The Gophers baseball team rallied from a late two-run deficit before losing 5-4 in 10 innings to Michigan State in the series finale in East Lansing, Mich. • The Gophers women's golf team took seventh at the 11-team Lady Buckeye Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. Banchalee Theinthong was the top Gophers finisher, tying for fourth at 12-over 228. OSU won the team title.
