P.J. Fleck has been reeling in some highly ranked football recruits of late, with the Gophers coming off an 11-2 season.

On Friday, the Gophers landed their third four-star recruit in the Class of 2021, when Avante Dickerson, a 6-foot, 165-pound defensive back from Omaha, committed to Minnesota.

The Westside High School product had more than two dozen offers from programs such as Oregon, LSU and Ohio State. He is the No. 56 recruit in the country, as ranked by 247Sports.com.

Earlier in the day, the Gophers received a commitment from linebacker Devon Williams, who had previously committed to Kentucky. Williams is a 6-1, 215-pound three-star recruit, per 247Sports.com.

The Dublin, Ohio, native also had offers from Michigan and Nebraska.

"I've always [dreamed] of playing football at the next level, but also being somewhere I know will help develop me into the man I want to be," Williams tweeted. "With that being said, I would like to also announce that I am 100% committed to the University of Minnesota."

As of Friday afternoon, the Gophers' 10-member recruiting class was No. 7 nationally in the still-early 247Sports.com composite rankings, with fellow Big Ten foes Ohio State (No. 1), Wisconsin (No. 6) and Michigan (No. 9) also in the top 10.

These recruits can't officially sign their letters of intent until Dec. 16.
