Joey King was named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday morning.

The senior forward, who reeled in the honor along with Northwestern's Alex Olah, put up back-to-back 20-plus point games over the weekend, the first such stretch of his career.

King hit a new career high with 22 points on six three-pointers against UMKC on Friday, and followed the standout performance with 20 points, including a 9-for-10 performance from the line, to go along with eight rebounds against Louisiana Monroe on Sunday.

It's the Eagan native's first weekly conference honor. Minnesota last drew Player of the Week honors last December, when then-seniors Mo Walker and Andre Hollins were named in consecutive weeks.
