The bruising 240-pound senior rushed 24 times for a career-high 153 yards and the go-ahead touchdown, taking over the second half for the Gophers. After intermission, McCray carried 20 times for 109 yards.

DEFENSIVE MVP

Carter Coughlin, Gophers

The sophomore defensive end had four tackles, all solo, two sacks and a forced fumble. The sacks were a career high in a game, and the forced fumble was his first.
